Le Taiyo like most Japanese restaurants in Switzerland is not actually run by anyone from Japan. As far as food is concerned, this restaurant is nothing special nor different from any other Swiss Japanese restaurant. However, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings the restaurant offers Sushi-a-go-go. For 48 francs, you can eat as much sushi as you want within two hours. This is value. No-where else in Lausanne can you eat sushi this cheaply.One golden rule. NEVER MAKE IT A COMPETITION.
